Annual Benefits Enrollment is October 1, 2023 - October 31, 2023; benefits elected during this period become effective January 1, 2024. Visit the What’s Changing page for a list of updates for our benefits elections.
Before You Enroll

- Decide what’s right for you
- Review the 2024 benefits information
- Use the ALEX decision support tool to help decide which TCHHN plan is right for you
- AMWINS – This Medicare Concierge Service can help you decide if Medicare or a TCHHN plan is right for you and/or your loved ones
- Attend a Benefits Fair

Instructions to Enroll
Medical, dental, vision, HSA/FSA, and voluntary life & AD&D enrollment is available in TCHpoint. Follow the below instructions to make those elections.
To enroll in Accident, Critical Illness, Hospital Indemnity, or Life with LTC, either schedule an appointment with a Prepare Benefits Counselor or click here to self-enroll.
Instructions to Make Voluntary Benefit Elections
Prepare Benefits Counselors
The Benefits Counselors are available to explain how each plan works and can help you enroll. The Prepare Benefits Counselors will be on-site for open enrollment; telephone appointments will also be available.
Your Benefits Counselor can:
- Help you better understand the benefit options available
- Complete you voluntary benefits enrollment
- Help you enroll in TCHpoint
- You will need your TCHpoint username and password and access to TCHpoint through a computer or your mobile phone.
- Note that the Benefit Counselor will not be able to enroll in TCHpoint for you. They can help guide you through the election process.

TCHpoint Instructions
- From your internet browser, click on the “TCH Links” folder on your bookmarks bar and select TCHpoint. You also can use the TCHpoint App
- Log in using your single sign-on credentials.
- Click on the Home icon to go to your dashboard
Once you’re signed in, you can use Guided Learning to help navigate through your enrollment or go through it alone
With the Guided Learning Tool
- Click on the guided learning icon on the right side of your homepage.
- Type “Benefits Annual Enrollment” in the Guided Learning tool
- Follow the prompts
Without Guided Learning
- Select Benefits > Make Changes
- Confirm all dependent information is entered accurately
- Click the "Continue" button to begin enrolling.
- Your current elections will be pre-populated, except for the HSA and FSA contribution elections. HSA and FSA
- For each plan type, click the ‘Edit’ button to change your elections and covered dependents. Make your elections for that plan type and click the ‘Continue’ button to return to the main page.
- Once you’ve made all your plan elections, click the ‘Submit’ button to finish your enrollment.

Make 2023 Benefit Elections
Make 403(b) Deferral Elections
You will be automatically enrolled in the Plan at a 3% of pay in a traditional contribution. Once enrolled, the initial 3% of pay contribution level automatically increases by 2% each year up to a maximum of 7% of pay.
You can, elect to opt out of the automatic enrollment, opt out of the auto contribution increase, make changes to the type of contribution (Roth or traditional), and make changes to the amount you save at Fidelity NetBenefits.

You can change your 403(b) deferral elections at any time during the year. Elections are effective 1-2 payrolls following the date the election is made.
Primary Benefits
You have 30 days from your date of hire to make your medical, HSA/FSA, dental, vision, and supplemental life insurance elections.
Make Your New Hire Benefit Elections
- Go to TCHpoint.
- If your are on a TCHHN computer, you can open your internet browser and click on the “TCH Links” folder on your bookmarks bar and select TCHpoint.
- Log in using your single sign-on credentials (black box)
- Click on the Home icon to go to your dashboard
- Select Benefits > Enroll / Make Changes
- Confirm all dependent information is entered accurately and that any dependents you want to cover are listed on this page
- Note: It is okay if people you don’t want to cover are listed on this page.
- Click the "Continue" button and follow the prompts
- Print your confirmation statement (see instructions below)
- Upload your supporting documentation (see instructions below)

Print and/or Save Your Confirmation Statement
From your main dashboard in TCHpoint:
- Select Benefits
- Select Your Benefits
- Set the “See Benefits as of Date or Event” is set to “Specific Date”
- Enter the effective date of your benefits (the first day of the month after your date of hire)
- Click the “Print” button on the top right-hand corner of the screen
- A PDF will appear in a new window. You can either save the PDF or print the PDF.

icon when you get to the “My Benefits” page.
Uploading Your Supporting Documentation
From your main dashboard in TCHpoint:
- Select Benefits
- Select Pending Actions
- Click on the link for the pending action
- The link will tell you which supporting documentation is needed.
- If multiple documents are listed, all of the documents are required.
- Add the documents by either (1) dragging and dropping the files to the box on the bottom of the screen or (2) clicking the link to upload the attachments
- You can attach more than one document to the pending action.
- Click Submit
The documents submitted will show as pending until they are reviewed and processed. Total Value will reach out to you if additional information is needed.
Please Note: Once your documents have been approved, you may see retroactive premium charges back to the coverage effective date on the following paycheck because the elections that were pending documentation are now active.

Transamerica Voluntary Benefits (Hospital Indemnity Insurance and Whole Life Insurance)
These benefits are only available during Annual Enrollment; enrollment instructions will be communicated during the Annual Enrollment period. Information regarding these benefits can be found on the Voluntary Benefits tab.
MetLife Voluntary Benefits (Accident Insurance and Critical Illness Insurance)
These benefits are only available during Annual Enrollment; enrollment instructions will be communicated during the Annual Enrollment period. Information regarding these benefits can be found on the Voluntary Benefits tab.
Qualifying Life Events
If you have a recent qualifying event, you have 30 days from the date of your Qualifiying Life Event (QLE) to make your medical, HSA/FSA, dental, vision, and supplemental life insurance elections.
Make Your New Benefit Elections for a Qualifying Life Event
- Go to TCHpoint.
- If your are on a TCHHN computer, you can open your internet browser and click on the “TCH Links” folder on your bookmarks bar and select TCHpoint.
- Log in using your single sign-on credentials (black box)
- Click on the Home icon to go to your dashboard
- Select Benefits > Report a Life Event
- Select the appropriate Life Event
- Enter the date the Life Event occurred
- Click the "Continue" button
- Confirm all dependent information is entered accurately and that any dependents you want to cover are listed on this page
- Note: It is okay if people you don’t want to cover are listed on this page.
- Click the "Continue" button and follow the prompts
- Print your confirmation statement (see instructions below)
- Upload your supporting documentation (see instructions below)
